Well...apparently this is happening, i.e. SOE is taking Vanguard. Can someone please tell me why this makes any bit of sense? Anyone...? And don't say "because" or I'll feel the need to smack you :)

Well, nobody has said "SOE is taking over" officially yet, though that is the main vibe people are taking from all of this. I still wouldn't bet any cash I couldn't afford to lose on that outcome.
As for how Sony could justify it... well, it better come at a good price because "it was too cheap to pass up" is the only reasoning I can come up with.
